Governing Rolling Stock:-

Cars:

-short cars

Locomotives:

Geared Locomotives (Bachman shays, Climax, Heisler) as well as 2-8-0. Maybe 1st generation diesels.

  • 3 Bachman 3trk Shays with sound
  • 1 Bachman 2-8-0 with sound
  • 1 Bachman 4-6-0 hopefully with Sound
  • RS-1 (as needed, especially when we want to run as a more modern period late 50's)
  • S-1
  • Possibly a GP-7

NOTE: Locomotive power coming in from staging will be somewhat bigger as they will probably be CNW and CP unless we move the geography location.

Room:-

Specs:

  • Space: 2 car garage
  • Located: Southern California
  • Walls: all 96" high, except south wall is 68"
  • Dimensions: 20' E-W, 20' 9" N-S

Restrictions:

  • cannot use the last 4.5" feet on the west end of that north wall
  • southern wall is 68" high, all other walls are 96" high
  • north wall (is the upper wall in the diagram below) has 12' of 37" high lower cabinets and counter top and upper cabinets that start at 69" and rise up to 93" and come out 12" from wall and run to 40" from the east end of the north wall. They will probably come out at some point and if not at least one or two could be moved giving another 2-4' of free wall space to that 40".
  • west wall is off limits (display case, access to kitchen and washer and dryer)
